Tunbridge Wells Common volunteering session

Please come and join us at the next volunteering session on Tunbridge Wells Common. There will be litter picking and a range of practical conservation tasks such as scrub clearance, removing invasive species, clearing paths and ponds, making a huge difference to the area. Our sessions are a great way to learn more about the commons, to meet new people and have a good laugh, we highly recommend it!

Where?
Meeting at Fir Tree Road car park on Tunbridge Wells Common, with up to four hours of free parking for users of the Commons.
When?
10.30am for up to 2 hours, no obligation to stay the whole session.
Who?
Anybody can turn up, any age as long as you’re able to do some light manual work. Children are welcome with their responsible adult.
Why?
To have lots of fun but importantly to ensure the Commons continues to shine for the enjoyment of our community.
What to wear/bring?
Appropriate outdoor clothes, a pair of sturdy gardening gloves and any drinks or snacks you want. If you have your own litter picker please bring it along, but all equipment is provided…along with appropriate training.
