Friends Work Parties
The Friends of Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall Commons organise monthly work parties through the autumn, winter and early spring.  The work is not hard, and tools are provided.  The help of these volunteers is greatly appreciated, and new volunteers are very welcome.  The work parties meet on the first Saturday of every month through the winter.   Meet at 10.00 a.m. in Fir Tree Car Park.  The dates for this winter are:

KHWP Fun Days

Kent High Weald Project will be holding a family fun day on Tunbridge Wells Common on 4 August and another on Rusthall Common on 29 August.  There will two sessions each day, 10.00 - 12.00 and 1.00 - 3.00.  There will be mini-beast hunts and arts and crafts.  Do come along and let us know how you use the Commons and how we could make things better for you.  Please book your places with KHWP at www.khwp.org.uk

Conservators Meetings
The next meeting of the Conservators will be held on 25 October 2012 at 2.00 in the Town Hall.  Further information can be found on the Meetings page under "Tunbridge Wells Commons Conservators"
Heritage Open Days Guided Walk
Steve Budden, the Warden, will be conducting a guided walk on the morning of Sunday 9 September 2012.  All members of the public are welcome, although the route is unlikely to be suitable for wheelchairs.  Further details will be posted here nearer the time
Hospice 10K Run
The annual run to raise money for the Hospice in the Weald will be held on 16 September 2012.  Further details from their website hospiceintheweald.org.uk.
Rusthall Bonfire
The annual bonfire will this year take place on 27 October 2012.
Guided Walks
The Friends of Tunbridge Wells and Rusthall Commons arrange very interesting walks on the Commons from time to time.  When the next one is arranged the details will be posted here.
